Published 5/8/08:   We would like to point out to subscribers that the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is right around the corner, set to take place May 30 through June 3 in Chicago.  However, as opposed to years past, for the first time the abstracts that are going to be presented at this year’s ASCO meeting are going to be made available to everyone—not just ASCO members—ahead of the meeting.  This should help greatly in leveling the playing field by not allowing a select few to trade on information that not everyone has access to.
